100Years of Family Farms

SPECIAL AREAS BOARD
100 YEAR FARM FAMILY AWARD
The Special Areas Board wishes to recognize those families that have farmed/ranched in the Special Areas for 100 years. If your family owned and operated the homestead quarter for 100 years please make application to the Special Areas.
Application forms will be available at all of the District Offices and here.
The family will receive one bronze plaque commemorating this milestone and it will be presented to the family who owns the original homestead quarter. Certificates of recognition are also available for other family members.

Title Search

Special Areas now has a system in place to enable searching of our Titles 24/7. To request access to this system please email SAsearches@gov.ab.ca with the subject line “Title System Access Request”. Include the following with the request:
Company Name
Address
Contact Name
Phone Number
Email Address
All fields are mandatory.
Pricing for the search system is set at $3.00 per parcel. Once your request is processed we will be in contact with the email address you provided with attached instructions.
