Our Students have been given a tremendous opportunity to be part of a concert band under the direction of Mr. Dennis Orr and Mrs, Orr from Seven Persons, Alberta.  Mr. Orr and Mrs.  Orr have committed to spending 4 years in Oyen area and are dedicated to developing a successful band program.  The goal is to start students on key boards in grades 5-6 to establish a base for reading music and theory and then give students an opportunity to expand their musical interests by joining band in junior high.  SCHS is also offering a music program with Mr. Orr as the teacher, so students will continue to develope their musical skills through high schoole if they choose.
